The Goffstown village historic business district will be vibrant and diverse, blending a variety of business and leisure activities, residential and civic services, as well as community gatherings for the residents, employees, and guests.

Strategic Goals

The Goffstown Main Street Program recognizes that the Village District is growing and changing. GMSP plans to be an integral part of developing the look, feel, shape and character and vitality of the Main Street Village.

The Goffstown Main Street Program will continue to be a well-respected entity that is known for implementing programs and projects that impact the community positively, as well as being a catalyst and partner in other projects affecting the Main Street Village. The Program will strive to become consistently well funded.

The Goffstown Main Street Program recognizes art as an integral part of the Main Street Village's economic and social vitality. It will work to encourage performing, visual and public arts in the Village, as well as to build Goffstown's reputation for artistic endeavor.

Goffstown and the Main Street Village are blessed with a variety of natural and historic assets. The Goffstown Main Street Program will work to better utilize our river, lake, mountains and historic places to enhance life in the Village, and draw people into the Village.

The Goffstown Main Street Program recognizes the importance of festivals and events to build a stronger community, as well as to introduce visitors to the Village. We will continue to build the Giant Pumpkin Weigh-Off and Regatta as our signature event, drawing participants and guests regionally, while hosting events throughout the year in partnership with Village businesses to build a sense of community.
