It was a beautiful fall weekend to welcome the Giant Pumpkins into the Village! Throughout the weekend, thousands of guests walked along Main Street, visiting our local businesses & vendors, and participating in our contests. Dogs were dressed in their Saturday best, one family dominated the pumpkin cook-off, and lots of fun was had at the pie-eating contest. The Art Show-Off was also a great success with wonderful artwork submitted by Goffstown students from preschool through high school.
As always, the Giant Pumpkins were the stars of the show. This year's heaviest pumpkin weighed over 2000 pounds. Then it was boat-making time. This year's brave teams were: Mountain View Middle School, Pyer's Incorporated, the Goffstown Library Board of Trustees, White Birch Eatery, Apotheca, WMUR, Village Trestle, YMCA, and Goffstown Congregational Church. Apotheca won the Jim Beauchemin Best Decorated Pumpkin Award, while the winner of the 2022 Regatta was Mountain View Middle School.
