GMSP is excited to spotlight another new business in the Village of Goffstown -- Dog Vibes! We first discovered this hidden gem back in May and immediately wanted to learn more. Owners Jess Janowski and Kristal Delahanty were happy to share the story behind their new venture, one built on years of experience, friendship, and a shared passion for improving the lives of dogs and their families.
Jess and Kristal have known each other for 17 years, but the idea for Dog Vibes didn't come together until September 2025. At the time, Kristal's youngest child had started taking training classes with Jess. Both women were already operating successful pet-related businesses and were independently searching for a space to grow. During one conversation, someone jokingly asked, "Why aren't we doing this together?" That simple question quickly became the foundation for what is now Dog Vibes.
Jess has been training dogs since 2004, while Kristal has spent her career managing dog daycares, supervising playgroups, and most recently operating Gotta Go Pet Care for the past ten years. Many in Goffstown may also remember Kristal as the winner of last year's GMSP Pumpkin Regatta. Together, they bring decades of professional experience and a shared philosophy centered on enrichment, education, and compassionate care.
Choosing Goffstown as the home for Dog Vibes was never in question. Both Jess and Kristal
have lived in town for approximately 20 years, raising their families here and volunteering through schools, youth sports, and community activities. They wanted to invest in the same community that has meant so much to them over the years. Their search for the perfect location actually began at 70 Depot Street. Although the building is tucked away and unfamiliar to many residents, it immediately stood out. After touring several other properties, they found themselves comparing every location to that first one - and ultimately realized it was exactly where Dog Vibes belonged.
The lease was signed on January 31, 2026, and the transformation began. What had been an empty warehouse required months of planning, construction, and hard work to become the welcoming facility it is today. On May 19, Dog Vibes officially opened its doors and began welcoming its first four-legged clients.
Today, Dog Vibes offers an impressive facility featuring 10,000 square feet of climate controlled indoor space and a fully fenced 4,000-square-foot outdoor play yard. The indoor space includes two large training and play areas measuring approximately 3,500 and 5,000 square feet, along with dedicated kennel and downtime areas designed to provide dogs with a safe, comfortable environment.
Services include Monday through Friday daycare, private training, group classes, and ring rentals for owners looking for a comfortable place to train or exercise their dogs. The team also offers specialized programs including Rally, Scent Work, Canine Good Citizen testing, and Control Unleashed classes. Looking ahead, Dog Vibes plans to host canine competitions, further expanding opportunities for local dog owners and trainers.
What truly sets Dog Vibes apart is its approach to daycare. Rather than simply providing supervision, every dog's stay includes structured training, enrichment activities, and carefully matched playgroups at no additional cost. Dogs rotate through activities designed to engage both their minds and bodies, creating an environment that encourages confidence, learning, and healthy socialization. For Jess and Kristal, however, Dog Vibes is about more than dog care. Their mission has always been to improve the quality of life for both dogs and their families while creating a welcoming space for everyone who loves dogs. That community-minded philosophy extends beyond their daily services.
Dog Vibes offers a unique lending library where families can borrow crates, gates, ramps, and other equipment for short-term needs, such as helping a dog recover after surgery. They also organize monthly donation drives supporting local animal charities, providing another way for clients and neighbors to give back.
As a locally owned business built by longtime Goffstown residents, Dog Vibes reflects the kind of entrepreneurship that strengthens our community -- combining professional expertise with a genuine commitment to helping people and their pets.
