New to the Goffstown Historic Village Business District is Catalyst Creative Studio, a space where creativity, community, and collaboration thrive!

After years of renting space from other photographers, owner Alica Jamrog couldn’t envision anywhere else but her hometown of Goffstown to open her own photography studio. She is elated to have found a spot right in the heart of Goffstown Village at 32 Main Street. Alica’s creative driving force would make Catalyst Creative Studio so much more than just a photography studio. She envisioned a “collaborative hub” that brings small business owners, creatives and the community together. How long have you been in business?

While Catalyst Creative Studio is my newest venture, I’ve been successfully running my photography business, Sweet Ginger Photography, for nearly nine years. Catalyst is the natural evolution of that journey—a dedicated home studio for my photography and a vibrant space designed to support other small businesses and creatives.

What services do you offer?

At Catalyst Creative Studio, we offer far more than just photography. Our services include:

• Professional Photography: A full-service photography studio for portraits, branding, and creative shoots.

• Workshops & Events: We collaborate with local small business owners to host engaging workshops, classes, and community events.

• Co-working Space: Flexible co-working opportunities for creatives, freelancers, and entrepreneurs seeking a bright and inspiring environment.

• Small Event & Meeting Space: Our studio is available to host intimate events, business meetings, and creative gatherings. Whether it’s a networking mixer, a pop-up shop, or a brainstorming session, our space offers a modern and welcoming setting.

• Consignment Art & Merchandise: We showcase and sell unique, locally made products from talented consignment artists.

• Networking & Collaboration: A space designed for building connections, exchanging ideas, and fostering creative partnerships.

What inspired you to start your business?

After years of renting studio spaces from other photographers, I knew it was time to create my own. However, I didn’t want Catalyst to be just a photography studio—I envisioned a collaborative hub that brings together small business owners, creatives, and the local community. My goal is to create a space where people can work, learn, and grow, while also adding fresh, exciting opportunities for Goffstown and the surrounding towns.

Why did you choose Goffstown as the location for your business?

I’ve proudly called Goffstown home since 2014. It’s where my children have grown up, and I’ve developed a deep connection to the community. The welcoming culture, support for local businesses, and charm of the downtown area made it the perfect place to plant roots for Catalyst. I spent a good amount of time scouting locations, waiting for the right one to become available—and now, here we are on Main Street, right in the heart of it all.

What makes Catalyst Creative Studio unique?

While there are other spaces in Goffstown that host events or offer rental space, Catalyst is specifically designed to support and showcase small businesses and creatives. Our studio is bright, modern, and versatile—perfect for photography, events, coworking, and small gatherings. What truly makes us stand out is the collaborative energy we aim to cultivate. Catalyst will be shaped by the local creative community, making it a dynamic, ever-evolving space.

What motivates you as a business owner?

Creativity is my driving force—I’m constantly dreaming up new ideas and seeking fresh ways to bring them to life. Being able to share that process with my two children is incredibly rewarding. As a single mom, I want to show them the value of hard work, resilience, and passion. Building Catalyst from the ground up and involving them in the journey teaches them invaluable life lessons, and that keeps me going every day.
